PURPOSE: A multimedia displayer, a control method for the same, a multimedia system using the multimedia displayer and a control method for the same are provided to improve the performance of a display device. CONSTITUTION: A multimedia display device(10) includes a body, a CCD camera(15), an image processor(12), an MPEG encoder/decoder(18), an image display unit(14), a camera operating unit(16), a speaker(27) and a memory. The CCD camera is installed at the body and photographs a subject. In addition, the CCD camera outputs an image signal of the photographed subject. The image processor converts the image signal of the CCD camera into image data. The MPEG encoder/decoder encodes or decodes the image signal. |
