<p>The running band is located radially round the jacket of the rotary furnace or rotary drum by mounting plates and bearing plates, giving an air space between band and drum, and secured in place by bolts which only penetrate half the thickness of the band foot and bearing plate. The drum can be rolled into the operating location, without the heat of the drum affecting the running band.</p> |
