<p>Wool textile felt- and shrink-proofing with alkaline cpd. pre-treatment. In felt-free finishing of wool contg. textiles with hardenable polyisocyanates the material is pre-treated with a dispersion of an alkaline cpd. in 1-2C halohydrocarbon,0.03-20, pref. 0.5-15 g/l. of alkali hydroxide in a lower 1-3C alcohol or a 2-18C organic or alkanolamine, pref. mono-, di- or triethanolamine, or (mixed) 12-18C fatty amine. The quantity of polymer needed is lowered so making the process more economic.</p> |
