<p>Fluorescent composns. of structure (I) : are prepd. by condensing in acid medium (where A is substd. benzene or naphthalene ring), with cpds. of structure - (where n = 0, 1; R is H, Me or Et; R2 is H, Me or OMe and X is an anion). These composns. can be used as dyestuffs or optical brighteners for textiles which can be dyed with disperse dyestuffs e.g. polyamides, polyesters, polyacrylonitrile and also for other textiles such as poly-methylene malono-nitrile.</p> |
