The arrangement (10) has a set of plane support structures (22.1-22.4), in which press pots (30) are adjustably stored along a longitudinal axis of the structures between an upper shift position and a lower shift position. Another set of support structures (24.1-24.4) is provided, in which press stamps (32) are adjustably stored along the longitudinal axis of the latter set of structures between an upper shift position and a lower shift position, where the stamps are guided into the press pots. The press pots and press stamps are distributably arranged in a raster. An independent claim is also included for a method for pressing cheese in block forms using a press arrangement.
