The machine has an injection unit housing (2) provided as a central part of an injection unit (1). An injection force measuring device (17) determines an injection force (S) applied by a screw (5) during executing injection stroke of the screw. The measuring device has a tensile force sensor (16) i.e. industrial standard tensile force sensor, which is integrated in the housing such that a reaction force (R) of the injection force is detected, where the reaction force is generated by the injection force and is introduced into the housing via drive motors (10, 11) and a motor flange (12).
