PURPOSE: A magnetron is provided to prevent the lowering of the performance by depositing a getter material on a stem ceramic or antenna ceramic even though the getter material is evaporated. CONSTITUTION: A magnetron(1) includes an anode cylinder(101), a cathode(106), a pair of magnetic poles(121), a mounting unit(120), and a getter material(103). An anode cylinder has an opening part in both sides and a cylindrical shape. The anode cylinder has a plurality of anode vanes(105) radially arranged inside an inner wall. The cathode is arranged on the central axis of the anode cylinder. The pair of magnetic poles are interposed in both opening parts of the anode cylinder. The mounting part is arranged inside the anode cylinder. The getter material is arranged in the mounting part.
