[Also in Divisions A4 and F2] A tubular frame junction-piece comprises a rectangular block 10 with (as shown) three hollow projections 15-17, and having a plurality of walls, one of which has a hole 25. Each projection comprises three orthogonal walls A, B. C welded to the block 10, and a fourth wall portion comprising two tabs 20, 21, opposite the hole 25. A button, has a head 31 protruding through the hole 25, and a shoulder 32 held against the inside of wall B by a spring reacting against tabs 20, 21. A square section hollow elongated tube having a complimentary hole to hole 25 is pushed over the projection 16, and locked by the button so that the tube abuts the block 10 with its outside surfaces flush with the block walls 11. Up to six. projections can be fixed to one block to form a junctionpiece. |
