UNIVERSAL JOINT MANUFACTURING METHOD

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method for a universal joint in which a solid shaft and a yoke are formed in a body is provided to improve productivity of a product, and to reduce manufacturing cost of the product by making the universal joint with a former device. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method for a universal joint includes the following steps of: cutting a material(20) of a rod shape to the predetermined length; stretching the material while pressurizing the material with a former mold; forming a head part(21) on the top of the solid shaft; forming a tapered part(22) between the solid shaft and the head part; molding the rectangular head part; forming a preliminary molding groove(23) on the center of an upper part of the head part; forming a yoke of a U shape; and forming a serration(12) on the bottom of the solid shaft.
