PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for editing a 3d image are provided to enable a clear 3D image provision by enhancing the accuracy of image synchronization through various verifications. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for editing a 3d image includes an image processing unit, a 3D image pre-processing unit and a 3D image editing unit. The image processing unit digital-processes right and left image and an audio signal obtained from a camera, and the 3D image processing unit obtains the right and left image and the audio signal from the image processing unit. The 3D image pre-processing unit compares a maximum value of a signal set up based on the audio signal in order to synchronize the right and left image.
