PURPOSE: An image forming apparatus and a firmware history information providing method thereof are provided to offer the firmware change history to a user conveniently when upgrading a firmware without using a host computer. CONSTITUTION: A firmware history information providing method of an image forming apparatus comprises the following steps of: receiving/storing a firmware history document and a firmware upgrade file(S110,S120); performing the firmware by using the stored firmware upgrade file(S130); and providing the stored firmware history document(S140).
