APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ADAPTIVE TRANSMISSION BASED ON INTERFERENCE TERMPERATURE COGNITION IN THE COGNITIVE RADIO SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An adaptive transmission apparatus based on the interference temperature cognition in a cognitive radio(CR) system and a method thereof are provided to guarantee the optimal transmission rate for a CR user. CONSTITUTION: A method for enabling a CR user to adaptively transmit a signal in a CR communication system comprises the following steps of: measuring the distance between a main user and the CR user based on an interference temperature value on the frequency band of the main user measured/calculated by using a spectrum sensing algorithm(S160); determining the transmission power of the signal which the CR user will use based on the measured distance(S170); and calculating an SINR(Signal-to-Interference and Noise) by using the determined transmission power and measured interference temperature value.
