PURPOSE: A vehicle speed-up apparatus using a tire air-pressure sensing system is provided to control the oil pressure of a starting clutch more accurately in a starting clutch direct-connected section. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle speed-up apparatus using a tire air-pressure sensing system comprises a tire air-pressure sensor and ECU(10). The tire air-pressure sensor is installed on a wheel of each tire. The tire air-pressure sensor is mounted in the tire and converts the tire air-pressure into an electric signal in order to generate a tire air-pressure signal. The ECU computes the weight of a vehicle based on the tire air-pressure signal. The ECU transfers the produced weight information to a TCU(30). The TCU sets up an oil-pressure control duty pattern of the starting clutch. The TCU compensates the oil-pressure control duty pattern of the starting clutch based on a weight fluctuation value of the vehicle.
