APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING IMAGE DATA AND SYSTEM INCLUDING THE SAME

An apparatus for transmitting image data and a system including the same are provided to transmit image data to a host at the same speed as the receiving speed without any restriction of transmission speed of the communication unit by splitting and processing the received image data through an independent path. An apparatus for transmitting image data includes a field programmable gate array(210), a buffer memory(220), a main communication unit controller(250) and at least one auxiliary communication unit controller(260-260n). The filed programmable gate array split the received image data and processes the split image through an independent path. In addition, field programmable gate array outputs the first and second split image data simultaneously. The buffer memory stores the first and second image data received from the gate array temporarily. The main communication unit controller receives the first split image data from the filed programmable gate array, and converts the received image data and transmits the converted image data to a host.
