METHOD FOR PREPARING DIGITAL MAP SHOWN WITH FLOOD MODEL INFORMATION

A method for manufacturing a digital map where flood model information is displayed is provided to visualize the flood model information including a flood area and a submersion depth. An altitude point and a height layer are extracted. An irregular triangle mesh is generated by using the height layer. A topographical surface is generated by performing a grid format conversion process(102). The position of a measurement point of the maximum flood height which is similar to the plan height of a road is generated on a digital map. A siding which is orthogonal to the measurement point and central line of a river is generated. A flood surface is generated by applying the interpolation method to siding(103).
