FLOATING STRUCTURE HAVING THRUSTERS FOR BOTH PROPULSION AND HEADING CONTROL, AND HEADING CONTROL METHOD OF THE FLOATING STRUCTURE

A floating structure having thrusters for propulsion and heading angle control, and a heading angle control method of the floating structure are provided to execute both propulsion and heading angle control of the floating structure by diagonally installing a pair of thrusters in a stern floor. A floating structure(1) having thrusters for propulsion and heading angle control is composed of a turret(2), a first thruster(4), and a second thruster(6). The turret is formed as a forebody of the floating structure. The first and second thrusters are diagonally arranged in the stern floor of the floating structure. The first and second thrusters are arranged not to be interfered each other in operating. The first and second thrusters include a pair of azimuth type thrusters in which the propulsion direction is changeable.
