A key interlock apparatus is provided to be mechanically operated without a separate sensor by using a cable connected between a gearshift and a key cylinder. A key interlock apparatus is composed of a gearshift(112), a sliding cam(160), an elastic member(170), a rotation cam(180), and a cable(140). The incline contacting to the gearshift is formed in the sliding cam. The elastic member is compacted because the sliding cam is moved when the gearshift moves along the incline. The rotation cam contacts with the sliding cam, and is rotated around a rotation shaft by the movement of the sliding cam. One end of the cable is connected to the rotation cam, and the other end of the cable is connected to the key cylinder. The cable moves along the rotation of the rotation cam. The elastic member has a coli spring. A torsion spring is installed in the rotation shaft of the rotation cam.
