A portable electronic device for enhancing the efficiency of heat radiation is provided to prevent asymmetrical deterioration of a battery pack by parallel separated from the rear side of the display unit to a battery pack and prevent the asymmetrical deterioration of the battery pack. A portable electronic device(100) comprises a main body unit(10), a display unit(20) and a battery pack(30). The display unit is combined in the main body member. It is opened and closed in the display unit about the main body member. The battery pack is located in the rear side of the display unit. As the main body member and display unit are opened, the battery pack is separated from the display unit.
