<p>A cylindrical secondary battery is provided to reduce the internal resistance of a battery in case of vibration or external impact, to prevent the leakage of an electrolyte solution and to prevent the assembly error of a cap-up and a safety vent. A cylindrical secondary battery(100) comprises a cylindrical can(120); an electrode assembly accommodated in the cylindrical can; and a cap assembly(130) which comprises a safety vent(132) electrically connected with the electrode assembly to block current in case of the increase of the internal pressure of a battery and to discharge internal gas, and a cap-up(131) installed at the upper part of the safety vent to transfer the current of the electrode assembly to the outside, wherein the cap-up has a different thickness. The center part of the cap-up is thicker than the surrounding part.</p> |
