A method for installing an emergency battery for a mobile phone is provided to check a location of a mobile phone even though a main battery is separated due to an accident or impact, thereby effectively preventing crimes. An emergency battery is additionally installed inside a mobile phone. When a main battery of the mobile phone is separated from the main body of the mobile phone due to an accident or impact, the emergency battery supplies power for an emergency call or mobile phone location tracking to the mobile phone.
