A clay block for containing water with a water collection function and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce thermal island effect as a lower layer contains the moisture absorbed from an upper layer. A clay block(100) for containing water with a water collection function comprises an upper layer(110) and a lower layer(120). In the upper layer, coarse pores and micro pores are distributed. The coarse pore of the upper layer has the diameter of 1~100 micron size. The micro pore of the upper layer has the diameter of 10~1000nm size. In the lower layer, the micro pores having the diameter of 10~1000nm size are distributed. The coarse pore and the micro pore of the upper layer collect moisture and contain water. |
