The board has a motion sensor (10) attached to the recreational board for detecting the rotation of the recreation board in the main direction of motion of the recreation board. Light sources (31-33) are placed at a distance from each other, and a data processing unit (20) controls the light sources by using a signal obtained by the motion sensor. An electrical power source (40) provides power needed for various components associated with the recreation board. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for producing a recreational board (2) a method for using a rotation of a recreational board.
