DISPLAY PANEL AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

A display panel and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to manufacture an upper substrate without an additional process by simultaneously etching a common electrode region corresponding to a region where a cell gap spacer is formed when forming a cut pattern. A display panel includes one substrate(300), another substrate(200), a conductive spacer and a cell gap spacer(CS1), and a common electrode(350). One substrate is transparent. Another substrate faces one substrate. The conductive spacer and cell gap spacer are formed in one substrate. The common electrode is formed in another substrate and an opening is formed in an area with which the cell gap spacer contacts.
