NONWOVEN FABRIC-LIKE NICKEL-CHROMIUM COLLECTOR FOR CAPACITOR, ELECTRODE USING THE SAME, AND CAPACITOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric double layer capacitor increased in capacitance, reduced in inner resistance with excellent durability. SOLUTION: The collector for the capacitor is made of nonwoven fabric-like nickel-chromium obtained by chromizing nonwoven fabric-like nickel and having the chromium content of at least 25 wt.%. The collector is obtained by performing electro-conductive treatment on resin nonwoven fabric and electrically nickelizing the fabric to form a nickel-coated layer on the surface of the nonwoven fabric, removing the resin to form nonwoven fabric-like nickel and chromizing the nonwoven fabric-like nickel such that the chromium content is at least 25 wt.%.
