PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control box of an outdoor unit capable of improving the quality and reliability of a product by preventing or delaying the progress of the corrosion of a control board caused by outside air and moisture intruding into a pattern face of the control board. SOLUTION: In this control box 34 of the outdoor unit 3 in which the control board 43 and the like is received, the control box 34 comprises a box body 40 in which the control board 43 is disposed, an outer peripheral wall 40B formed on the box body 40 in a state of rising upward while surrounding the circumference of the control board 43, and a cover body 41 having a fitting portion 41A holding the outer peripheral wall 40B from inner and outer faces at its periphery, and mounted on the box body 40 in a state of covering its top face, the cover body 41 has a recessed face 41B adjacent to the control board 43 disposed in the box body 40.
