<p>The system has a detector unit (3) provided for detecting radioactive gamma rays. The detector unit is designed as a geiger-muller-tube consisting of a hose or tubular anode in a direction of a longitudinal axis of the tube, and a hose or tubular cathode arranged in a rotation symmetrical manner to the anode. Drift gas i.e. argon, is provided in a spatial area between the anode and the cathode. The area is divided into counter tube-segments (11) in a direction of the axis, where segments are electrically separated from each other and designed as counting chambers. The cathode and anode consist of an electrical isolating material.</p> |
