<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic sphygmomanometer capable of switching automatic pressurization and manual pressurization corresponding to the voltage of a battery. <P>SOLUTION: Whether or not the voltage of the battery is equal to or above a prescribed value is determined, and when it is determined that the voltage of the battery is below the prescribed value (NO in step S4), the performance of pressurization by a manual pressurization means is reported (step S8). When it is determined that the manual pressurization means is connected to a case body, processing by the manual pressurization means is performed (steps S18, S20, S22). When it is determined that it is not connected, processing by an automatic pressurization means is performed (steps S14, S16).
