<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system for achieving simultaneously removal of carbon dioxide in the air and treatment of decomposition product of a fuel. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system includes a fuel cell 1 including a battery cell which includes a fuel side electrode 5, an oxygen side electrode 6 arranged opposed to the fuel side electrode 5, and an electrolyte layer 7 which is interposed between the fuel side electrode 5 and the oxygen side electrode 6 and is made of an anion exchange membrane, an air supply piping 14 which supplies the air to the oxygen side electrode 6, a fuel exhaust piping 12 which discharges an exhaust including a decomposition product of the fuel supplied to the fuel side electrode 5, and a carbon dioxide removal part 4 which is selectively interposed between the air supply piping 14 and the fuel exhaust piping 12 and includes ion exchange resin cartridges 16a, 16b for capturing carbon dioxide reversibly. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
