<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform printing, without interposing a PC, from an information receiver such as a TV receiver displaying broadcast contents or Internet contents. <P>SOLUTION: Data for printing being stored in a server 104 are obtained and content data are received which contain a URL to be used for acquiring a document for printing by accessing the server 104 from a receiver 102, which transfers the obtained document for printing to a printer 105 that carries out printing, and a function for printing related to the URL, and which are described in a mark-up language processable for a browser. By executing the function for printing, the document for printing is obtained by accessing the server 104 using the URL related to the function for printing, and processing for transferring the obtained document for printing to the printer 105 is carried out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
