<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a password setting system and password setting program capable of improving security. <P>SOLUTION: In the password setting system, a personal computer has a password setting program for displaying a virtual key operating part 81 obtained by making a key operating part provided in a composite machine an image in a liquid crystal display, setting a password by the displayed virtual key operating part and transmitting the set password to the composite machine through a LAN, and the composite machine includes an input-output interface for receiving a password from the personal computer through the LAN, a password authentication program for collating whether the password input to the key operating part coincides with the password received by the input-output interface, and a password authentication program for allowing a specific function to be executed when the password authentication program judges that the password input to the key operating part coincides with the password received by the input-output interface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
