<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new protein which is localized in the centromere, controls chromosome division, in other words, cell division, and is useful as a target for an anticancer agent and the like, its antibody, and a cell rendered deficient in the gene encoding the protein. <P>SOLUTION: The protein is composed of an amino acid sequence shown by a specific sequence or an amino acid sequence in which one or several amino acids in the amino acid sequence are deleted, substituted or added and is localized in the centromere, and has bondability to CENP-T. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
