<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water supply device making another control board take over control of one control board without drop of water supply capacity even if one control board does not function due to generation of noise, surge caused by lightening or the like, and life termination of various kinds of sensors, and ensuring take-over of the control by devising the control board in such a manner that the control boards do not fail simultaneously. <P>SOLUTION: The water supply device 1 includes a plurality of pumps 3, a plurality of inverters INV for variably controlling rotation frequency of the respective pumps 3, and a plurality of control boards CN for controlling the plurality of inverters. If one of the control boards fails, the other takes over the control in place of the one control board so as to continue the operation. The one control board is connected in series via the plurality of inverters through communication cables to the other.
