<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a toll collection/reception system for blocking passage of an illegal vehicle by correctly detecting the illegal vehicle in which vehicle type information different from a registered vehicle type is set to a vehicle-mounted device. <P>SOLUTION: The system comprises a roadside device for exchanging information between the vehicle-mounted device and outputting number information and vehicle type information, a number plate reading device for reading the number information by imaging a number plate image of a passing vehicle, a vehicle type determining device for determining a vehicle type whose vehicle type information does not match as the illegal vehicle by comparing determined vehicle type information with the vehicle information outputted from the roadside device after determining the vehicle type based on the number information read by the number plate reading device, and a central device for sequentially accumulating the number information of the illegal vehicle outputted from the vehicle type determining device and for outputting the number information of the illegal vehicle when the number information of the same illegal vehicle is accumulated more than a predetermined number of times. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
