PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a metal core printed wiring board free of product defects such as peeling, an etching defect, whitening, and migration. SOLUTION: A metal core plate 21 used for a core of the metal core printed wiring board is constituted as follows: a closing portion 24 is formed of a resin so as to close a through-hole 23 bored in a metal plate 22 as a base material. Consequently, when a metal film clad laminated plate 31 is obtained by laminating and uniting a prepreg 33 and metal foil 32 on both surfaces of the metal core plate 21, a surface of the copper foil 32 is prevented from being hollowed and a void is also prevented from being formed inside.
