PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a toner having excellent low temperature fixability, and also having excellent blocking resistance. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a toner at least comprises: a granulation stage where a mixture at least containing a binding resin, a coloring agent and a solvent capable of dissolving the binding resin, and in which the coloring agent is dispersed into the binding resin dissolved into the solvent is dispersed into a water base solvent, so as to form dissolved resin droplets, and the solvent is removed from the dissolved resin droplets, so as to obtain core particles; a sticking stage where resin particulates having Tg higher than that of the binding resin are added to the dispersion liquid in which the core particles are dispersed, and the resin particulates are stuck to the surfaces of the core particles; and a sticking stage where, in a state where the temperature of the dispersion liquid is held to the Tg of the binding resin or above and also to the Tg of the resin particulates or below, the dispersion stabilizer is removed, so as to fix the resin particles to the surfaces of the core particles.
