METHOD FOR INHIBITING OBSTRUCTIVE EFFECT BY ADHESIVE MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical for preventing the obstruction by a hydrophobic component having adhesiveness in a papermaking process, and to provide an addition method for inhibiting reattachement especially on the surface of a drier or a felt. SOLUTION: The method for inhibiting an obstructive effect by an adhesive material in the papermaking of adding one or more kinds selected from water-soluble polymers of the followings (a) to (d) to a papermaking stock before the papermaking includes adding the water-soluble polymers at a plurality of steps of a papermaking process before papermaking: (a) a polyvinylamine and a water-soluble copolymer having polyvinylamine repeating units; (b) a polyamine/epihalohydrin condensate containing a quaternary ammonium salt group; (c) a 2-aminoalkylene (meth)acrylate polymer and a water-soluble copolymer having 2-aminoalkylene (meth)acrylate repeating units; and (d) a polyethylenimine and a polyethylenimine modified product containing a quaternary ammonium salt group.
