PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize a shared space in a building in which piping is arranged in the shared space. SOLUTION: A building structure is equipped with a dwelling space and the shared space horizontally adjoining the dwelling space, and at least one length of piping vertically penetrating the shared space is arranged in the shared space. The building structure comprises: a wall for separating the dwelling space and the shared space; columns which are positioned at both width-direction ends of the wall, respectively; and a beam which is positioned between the columns and composed of a first section positioned on the wall and a second section parallel to the first section, positioned at a spacing to the side of the shared space from the first section.
