PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anodizing treatment apparatus and a method of determining the quality of the anodizing treatment in the anodizing treatment apparatus by which the quality of the anodizing treatment is determined by detecting the change of voltage applied between electrodes in the anodizing treatment. SOLUTION: In the anodizing treatment apparatus 1, which is provided with: a tretment liquid tank 2; the first and second electrodes 3a, 3b dipped in an anodizing treatment solution in the treatmrent liquid tank 2; a workpiece W to be anodized which is attached to an anode side in the first and second electrodes 3a, 3b; and a power source 4 for energizing the first and second electrodes through an energizing conductor wire L, a determination means 5 is connected to the first and second electrodes 3a, 3b. The determination means 5 determines right or wrong in the processing quality (the quality of anodizing treatment) by detecting the change of the voltage between the first and second electrodes 3a, 3b to monitor the generation of spark to detect surface roughness due to the generation of the spark.
