SELECTIVE HYDROISOMERIZATION METHOD FOR STRAIGHT AND/OR SLIGHTLY BRANCHED LONG PARAFFINS, USING MOLECULAR SIEVE CATALYST

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a selective hydroisomerization method of compounds including at least one n-alkane chain containing≥10C. SOLUTION: A compound to be treated is brought into contact with a catalyst comprising at least one hydro-dehydrogenating element and at least one molecular sieve with a mono- or bidimensional pore crystal lattice. The openings of the accessible pores of the molecular sieve are defined by 10 oxygen atoms, and the distance termed the bridge width between the pores is less than 0.70 nm, the molecular sieve is zeolites including boron atoms, and the catalyst subjected to a standard n-heptadecane isomerization test has a selectivity of at least 70% of isomerized products to a conversion of 95%.
