PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game ball recovering device having a simple and compact aligning mechanism. SOLUTION: Game balls which are received from a game machine into a hollow part of a ball receptacle are guided to a sensor unit by a standard passage. A passage used as the standard passage has a bent part bent sideward from an appropriately straight passage extending backward from one side of the hollow part of the ball receptacle. When many balls are received in the hollow part of the ball receptacle, overflowing balls flow into a rectification structure part 24 from an opening 17 allowing downward flow of overflowing balls. The rectification structure part 24 has a shelf-like recessed step part 242 which inclines downward to an upstream part of an adjacent portion of the standard passage, i.e. a portion provided with first to third rectification regions 232a-232c. A regulating step part 243 and a barrier wall 244 are provided on an upper end of the inclination of the recessed step part 242 so that the barrier wall 244 prevents balls from flowing into the standard passage from an upper end of the inclination. The balls prevented from flowing into the standard passage by the regulating step part 243 and the barrier wall 244 make pendulum motion along the inclination of the recessed step part 242 to appropriately limit an amount of balls flowing from the recessed step part 242 into the standard passage.
