<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aligning instrument and a program for the same which improve precision of aligning two radiation images. <P>SOLUTION: An evaluation value of a dislocation amount of a tissue photographed in two radiation images I<SB>H</SB>and I<SB>L</SB>evaluatedby an evaluation means 42 for each part of the two radiation images I<SB>H</SB>and I<SB>L</SB>is calculated to set a search condition setting means 43 a search condition for searching corresponding positions in the two radiation images with regard to each part in accordance with the evaluation value of the each part.
