PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera apparatus that improves the quality of a photographed image, and reduces size and weight effectively. SOLUTION: The camera apparatus integrally includes a photographing means 13 and a display means 16 for displaying an image and further includes a drive means for mutually independently rotating and moving the photographing and display means and control means 1, 2 for controlling the operation of the respective drive means. The camera apparatus has a vibration movement detection means for detecting the vibration movement of the photographing means 13, and performs control so that the display means 16 is subjected to cancellation processing operation in a direction, where the vibration movement is canceled, based on a result detected by the vibration movement detection means, when the photographing means 13 is moved with rotation.
