PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information communication device for making a setting for connection or nonconnection of a terminating circuit without requiring any operator's operation. SOLUTION: The information communication device includes an upstream-side terminal unit 6 to which a first signal line L1 to an upstream-side device is connected, a downstream-side terminal unit 7 to which a second signal line L2 to a downstream-side device is connected, a termination detection unit 40 which detects whether the downstream-side device is connected to the downstream-side terminal unit 7, and a termination setting unit 41 which connects a terminating circuit 39 for impedance matching to the upstream-side terminal unit 6 when the downstream-side device is not connected to the downstream-side terminal unit 7. The termination setting unit 41 includes a relay device which makes and breaks a contact ry1 inserted between the terminating circuit unit 39 and upstream-side terminal unit 6 according to a detection result of the termination detection unit 40.
