PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a sintered magnet which excels in a productivity and an economical efficiency and raises a remanent magnetic flux density. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the sintered magnet includes the steps of: producing slurry containing magnetic powder whose mean particle diameter is 1 to 10μm and solvent; processing the slurry with a high pressure homogenizer; carrying out a pressure forming of the slurry in the state where a magnetic field is impressed; deoiling an obtained formed object; and sintering the formed object. In the case of the processing by such a high pressure homogenizer, it is desirable to use the high pressure homogenizer whose processing pressure is 20 to 500 MPa. Further, prior to the processing by the high pressure homogenizer, it is desirable to process the slurry with a bead mill. Moreover, in the case of such a bead mill processing, it is desirable to use a bead whose diameter is 0.01 to 2.0 mm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
