PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection plug having simple, small and inexpensive construction for allowing easy and accurate work for mounting/demounting the connection plug while preventing the loss or the contact with a terminal block adjacent thereto, and to provide a connection terminal cover. SOLUTION: An U-shaped hole (18a) is formed in the upper end of the strip connection plug (10) for an upper-side bolt shaft (16a) to pass therein, and an oblong hole (18b) is formed in the center of the connection plug for a lower-side bolt shaft (16b) to pass therethrough. With the sliding movement of the connection plug mounted on the terminal block (14), when the lower-side bolt shaft is located at the lower end of the oblong hole, the U-shaped hole is connected to the upper-side bolt shaft; and when the lower-side bolt shaft is located at the upper end of the oblong hole, the U-shaped hole is isolated from the upper-side bolt shaft. The connection terminal cover (30) divided into an upper-side space (28a) and a lower-side space (28b) with a partition plate (26) is used for storing the upper-side bolt shaft in the upper-side space and storing the lower-side bolt shaft and the connection plug in the lower-side space when the paired bolt shafts are in an open circuit condition.
