PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens driving device that can be made much smaller in radial shape, and a camera device using the lens driving device. SOLUTION: The lens driving device is provided with: a lens holder 11 holding a lens; first and second magnets 31, 32 with like-poles opposed facing an optical axis direction (a); a coil 23 wound around the optical axis of the lens and arranged to cross the opposed space of the first and second magnets 31, 32; and yoke bodies 41, 42 holding the first and second magnets 31, 32 and the coil 23 from the optical axis direction (a) and covering them from the outside around the optical axis of the lens.
