PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of recording information on the use of a gun with respect to the gun possessed by an owner. SOLUTION: This gun use information recording device has a housing detachable to the gun, a GPS unit outputting GPS data, a physical quantity detecting means outputting physical quantity data, a RTC unit 25 outputting clock time data, a data memorizing portion 24 storing data, a battery, and an overall control portion (control portion 21) controlling these component parts, and the control portion 21 comprises a bullet shooting determining portion 44 determining whether output waveform and/or an output value of a prescribed point of the output waveform satisfies prescribed conditions or not on the basis of the output waveform as the physical quantity data output from the physical quantity detecting means, and determining that the shooting of bullet is performed by the gun when the conditions are satisfied, and a data recording control portion 50 for recording a result of the determination by the bullet shooting determining portion 44, the GPS data and the clock time data corresponding to each other as the data (use information) in the data memorizing portion 24.
