BRAKE DISK AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maximally avoid reduction in heat-dissipation properties without damaging effects such as safety and wear suppression of a brake pad in a brake disk having a petal-shaped outer peripheral shape in which radial unevenness circumferentially continues. SOLUTION: Each corner part between each side face of the front and the rear of a brake disk 1 and the petal-shaped outer peripheral edge of the brake disk is formed into a rounded surface 9 having an arcuate section. Each rounded surface 9 inhibits wear of a brake pad due to shaving by the uneven edges on the outer periphery of the brake disk. Each rounded surface 9 has a wider surface area compared with a chamfered face having an oblique section so as to promote heat dissipation at each corner part between each side face and the outer peripheral edge of the brake disk 1.
