<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an innovative hinge device capable of eliminating click sound at an open turning position with a simple construction involving no cost increase and to provide electronic equipment using the hinge device. <P>SOLUTION: The hinge device is constructed so that a cam part 3 rotating with rotation of a first member 1 and a cam engagement part 4 rotating with rotation of a second member 2 are provided to be rotatable relatively to each other about an axis of a rotary shaft part 5, the cam part 3 which relatively rotates and disengageably engages in a convexo-concave manner with the cam engagement part 4 is inserted through the rotary shaft part 5 in a whirl-stop state and is slidably provided along the rotary shaft part 5 against an engagement biasing mechanism 6, a projection part 8 is provided on the hole inner edge of a whirl-stop insertion hole 7 provided in the cam part 3 or on the outer surface of the rotary shaft part 5, and backlash in a whirl-stop direction between the whirl-stop insertion hole 7 and the rotary shaft part 5 is eliminated or reduced by pressure contact of the projection part 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
