<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedal device for a vehicle for preventing or suppressing the horizontal inclination of a pedal pad when a dash panel retreats due to the displacement of a power unit to the back side of the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: An inclined plane 44A of a load absorbing member 42 is formed along the deformation shape of a dash panel 14 to be estimated when the dash panel 14 is deformed according as a power unit 20 arranged in an engine room 10 moves to the back side of a vehicle when a vehicle collides, and when the dash panel 14 is deformed according as the power unit 20 is moved to the back side of the vehicle when the vehicle collides, a load F from the dash panel 14 side is transmitted to a pedal pad 38 side of an accelerator pedal 34 while stably supported and absorbed by the load absorbing member 42. Thus, the pedal pad 38 is stably supported by the dash panel 14 side through the load absorbing member 42 so that the horizontal inclination of the pedal pad can be prevented or suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
